DOGS AVAILABLE

Summary and pic Kane

Kane is not continuing in the Seeing Eye Dog training program as he doesn’t have the necessary temperament for the role.  He is a high energy dog and doesn’t settle easily in various settings.

Kane is a young dog that likes human attention.   He enjoys being near people, particularly within the home environment.  He will need to be monitored to ensure he does not attempt jump on furniture and possibly steal objects resembling toys.

Kane was raised in a household with two adults and teenage children.  He is a very active, excitable lad and at times vocal.   He will need a full-range of his favourite chew toys (nylon bones/kongs) to assist him in settling.  Play activities are best focussed in the backyard to avoid zoomies within the home.   He will require regular walks in familiar areas and play sessions in a generous sized yard to help satisfy his need to burn-off energy.

Kane walks nicely with a k9 bridle fitted.  There is a definite magnetism about Kane, a true character but he will require appropriate care and management.

He would be suitable to someone who preferably works from home and enjoys spending time with an active dog.

Due to Kane’s active nature we would not encourage families with young children to apply.

If you think you can provide Kane with his perfect forever home then please apply.

Kane is available from Marrochydore, QLD.  Kane's applicant will need to be based in QLD or willing to travel to QLD and pay for the cost of his transportation to their home state.

Glenda summary and pic

Glenda has chosen pet life as she simply finds it too difficult not to engage with other dogs when she is meant to be focussing on her training walks.

Her sweet and easy-going nature will make her a really lovely pet.

Glenda grew up on a rural property with an adult couple, where she shared her home with two pet dogs. Her upbringing has shaped her into a relaxed and well-behaved companion.
