Leaving a Bequest to Seeing Eye Dogs Australia
A Bequest to Seeing Eye Dogs Australia (SEDA) through your Will is an opportunity to benefit your community and for you to know that your future gift will directly benefit through the provision of a Seeing Eye Dog to an Australian who is blind or vision impaired.
In planning your Will we suggest your first concern should be for your family and others close to you. After providing for their financial security you can then consider how a Bequest to SEDA can really make a difference.
Our Bequest program is simple. All monies bequeathed to SEDA are directly spent on services that we provide to people who are blind or vision impaired nationally.
A Bequest to SEDA can take the form of either a Share of the Residue of your estate, a specified amount of Money or a nominated asset such as Shares or Real Estate.
When a Bequest to SEDA is proposed the following wording can be used as a guide by your Solicitor or Trustee Company;
“I give ____________________share/residue of my estate or the sum of $______________to Seeing Eye Dogs Australia of 17 Barrett Street, Kensington, Victoria for its’ general purposes and I direct that the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of Seeing Eye Dogs Australia shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Trustees/s “
Bequests do really make a difference no matter how large or small and are greatly appreciated by us.
If you have questions or would like any information about us ,your Will or how your Bequest can help, please contact us on 03) 9381 6400 and ask for David or Jenni.
