| Woof seeks roof over head
Our teenagers are ready to
graduate. Can they move in with you for their final six months of
training? We’ll collect them for school and drop them home after
class. Your after school caring will someday help give an Australian
who is blind independence for life.
Seeing Eye Dogs Australia are
seeking Temporary Boarders for their special dogs who are about to
commence their final six months of intensive training to qualify as a
Seeing Eye Dog.
We provide you with all the
necessities like food, bed, registration, leads and toys and all we ask is
that you house and love this ‘super hero’ of the future. Our
trainers will collect your new family friend Monday through Friday for
training. Of course, we will fit in with your schedule.
These very special animals have
been cared for, for the first 12 months of their life, by our volunteer
Puppy Carers who have, under the watchful eye of our training staff,
taught these dogs obedience and socialised them to the community. So
you see, your new family friend comes partly trained and ready for the
final stage before qualifying.
So if you are retired, work from
home or have a young family and feel you could help us, we’d love to hear
from you.
And for those who cannot help
us with Temporary Boarding, you can co-sponsor an adorable Seeing Eye
puppy for as little as $20 per month (tax deductible) and enjoy the
journey to become the ‘eyes’ of an Australian who is
blind.
Please contact Seeing Eye
Dogs Australia on 9381 6400 for more information or fill out the Temporary Caring
form.
