Shades for Sight

In October

Shades for Sight

Coinciding with the start of daylight savings, the goal of this campaign is twofold:

  • Create awareness to the importance of wearing sunglasses to protect eyes from damaging ultra violet (UV) radiation. This is particularly important for children, even infants.

  • Secondly to raise urgently needed funds to enable us to continue to provide the ‘gift of independence’ to Australians who are blind or vision impaired

Register your Seeing Eye Dogs Austalia Shades for Sight fundraising activity here.

You can also download an information sheet, courtesy of SunSmart on the importance of wearing sunglasses.
