We'd like to invite you and your friends to visit us at our national headquarters in Kensington, Melbourne.
A visit to Seeing Eye Dogs offers an unique insight into what a Seeing Eye Dog can do for someone without sight. Hear first hand from one of our Clients how their Seeing Eye Dog changed their life.
As our guests, we'll give you an overview of our organisation in our Auditorium then show you our Nursery where our heroes of tomorrow are born. How many puppies can you count in there?
It's then on to our obstacle course where you can watch and marvel as a Seeing Eye Dog in training worls its way around the different obstacles. How many commands do you think one of our dogs will know?
Follow this with a trip to our Kennels where you can see all our dogs in training. They'll love you too, may even say hello! Then back to the Auditorium for refreshments and the opportunity to purchase a memento of your visit.
Tours of Seeing Eye Dogs in Melbourne are available to groups by appointment. There is a nominal charge of $7 per person which helps us cover expenses. This cost include either morning or afternoon tea. Lunch consists of gourmet sandwiches and if you have special dietary requirements we can also that for you.

Our Community Education team consisting of Paul Roberts, Steve Nicholls, Seeing Eye Dog Sage and a wonderful team of Clients and volunteers are ideal speakers to invite to your next meeting or function.
Steve Nicholls is one of many Australians who are grateful to Seeing Eye Dogs for breeding and training his 'eyes' through his graduated dog, Sage.
Steve was diagnosed with RP when he was 20 and told he would be totally blind by the time he was 24. With the insistence on his concerned friends who did not want him to live a life as a recluse, Steve started to train with his first Seeing Eye Dog Zappa.
Hear Steve and Sage's amazing, inspirational and entertaining story about the journey of mates who face the world together.

There is no cost to book a speaker, however we do ask you consider a donation or perhaps pooling a monthly donation with your group to help sponsor a puppy. With no government funding every dollar really does help!
